Dr. David Thomas, M.D.

Dr. Thomas is a board certified dermatologist practicing in North County for over 21 years. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Thomas graduated from The University of California, Berkeley in 1978. He attended medical school back East at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda Maryland graduating in 1985. He completed internship at Naval Hospital San Diego in 1986 and graduated from the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute as a Navy flight surgeon in 1987. Dr. Thomas attended The University of California, San Francisco for dermatology residency where he served as Chief resident in 1994. Following that he served 11 years at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton where he was Chief of the Medical Staff and Director for Medical Services.  Dr. Thomas' professional interests include MOHS micrographic surgery, skin cancer, moles, acne, eczema, psoriasis, Botox and fillers.  Dr. Thomas is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and past president of the San Diego Society for Dermatologic surgery.

Dr. Margaret Hobson Dupree, M.D.

Dr. Dupree received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and joined the US Navy the following year.  After completing a tour of duty at the National Naval Medical Center and a deployment to the Persian Gulf, she attended and received her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at Bethesda, Maryland where she graduated with honors  and was awarded the Navy Surgeon General Award.    She completed internship at the National Naval Medical Center before serving  as a Naval Flight Surgeon at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar then completing Dermatology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego.  She then served as Head of the Dermatology Division at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and MCAS Miramar.  After leaving active duty, she was a Dermatologist at Scripps Clinic Medical Group, Nova Medical Group and Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group before moving back to North San Diego County  to start North County Dermatology Center with Dr. David Thomas.

Dr. Dupree has been board certified by the American Board of Dermatology since 2002, is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology,  a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, San Diego Dermatologic Society, and San Diego Society for Dermatological Surgery.  She has been a speaker at several national meetings, given many dermatology lectures and has been published in a number of professional journals.  She was selected as a Top Doctor in Dermatology (San Diego and Northern Virginia) and Consumers Checkbook Top Doctor (Washington DC). Her scope of practice includes medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.  She speaks Japanese fluently.

Dr. Camille A. Henninger, M.D.

Dr. Henninger grew up in a small town in central Nebraska and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She then received commission in the US Navy to attend the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Henninger completed an internship in Pediatrics at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego.

Subsequently, she was assigned as a general medical officer onboard the USS BOXER and deployed twice as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Henninger then completed her residency in dermatology at Naval Medical Center, San Diego. Following residency, she served as dermatology division head, internal medicine department head and traumatic brain injury program medical director at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. 

After serving over 11 years in the Navy, she was honorably discharged from active duty and joined the active Navy Reserves. Dr. Henninger continues to serve in the Navy, having acquired over 24 years of service. Being a board-certified dermatologist since 2009, Dr. Henninger has practiced dermatology in the private sector and through telemedicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her clinical interests include autoimmune diseases, acne, skin cancer, and dermatologic surgery. She is passionate about providing outstanding dermatologic care with a gentle and caring demeanor. Her small town roots shine through in her pursuit of treating all patients like family members.
